Tosca
Come join me for this stunning production with San Diego Opera this spring!
Scarpia, the chief of police, wants only two things: to recapture the escaped prisoner Angelotti and to seduce Tosca, an opera singer of incredible voice and beauty. Tosca is in love with Cavaradossi, an artist and sympathizer of Angelotti. After arresting Cavaradossi for harboring Angelotti, Scarpia plays with Tosca’s emotions, promising to free Cavaradossi if Tosca will succumb to Scarpia’s desires. But Tosca has a plan of her own, all of which unfolds with tragic consequences from which no one can escape.

Suor Angelica tells the story of a woman who bears a child out of wedlock and is sent to a convent for penance. After seven years, she is visited by her aunt, the Principessa, who brings tragic news of her son, which sets in motion a series of dire actions that ultimately result in tragedy, forgiveness, and peace.
Two Remain
I am thrilled to join Lyric Opera of Orange County in their local premier of Jake Heggie’s “Out of Darkness: Two Remain”.
These two true and compelling accounts of life after Auschwitz are brough to life, fully staged and expertly performed by internationally renowned professionals at the Yost Theatre in Santa Ana. Don’t miss the opening night pre-show talk by the composer and the private post-show reception with Mr. Heggie and the talented singers.

Carmen is the story of a truly independent woman and her life as she uses instinct and passion to drive her choices. Her many flirtations have gained her happiness throughout the years, flitting from one love affair to another, but what will her newest suitor bring to the table?
The Old Maid and the Thief
This summer I will be joining the International Lyric Academy in Venice, Italy, as Miss Todd for their production of Menotti’s “The Old Maid and the Thief”!

Unfortunately due to the most recent update in Italian law in regards to covid, our performances of this program will no longer be open for public attendance.
We will still be performing and there will be recordings of our performances. I am unsure at this time whether they will be made available to those of us participating, but if I can get access to them, I will be posting them online!
